Union Jack - Trakehner Hengst v. Louidor - Bartholdy
2-jährig (im September 2005)

Sire Louidor is an elite stallion and former State Stud stallion from Zweibrücken. Sired by the dressage producer EH Arogno, Louidor followed in his steps and sired several good dressage horses. However, his fame comes from a number of premium mares, almost all of them from the Freia family, and the 1997 National Champion mare Lossainen, who produced the two approved stallions Lessen (premium) and Lossow, both by Suchard. Louidor's son Ultra Chic was approved in Neumünster in 2002. The dam sire Patron was imported from Poland by Gottfried Hoogen for Gestüt Vogelsangshof and proved to be an outstanding sire for the Trakehner breed. Apart from over 120 main stud book mares, he produced excellent performance horses and several approved sons, of which the two elite stallions Sokrates and Mackensen stand out most. Third dam sire Imperator was a bay stallion by the Swedish bred Immer Voran, who was a direct son of the great Dampfross from Trakehnen.

The dam Ulla IX comes from the famous breeding program of the Dörfler family in Neudrossenfeld, Bavaria. With their elite mare Ulrike V, they were able to establish an outstanding mare family of premium mares, dressage horses and approved stallions. Horses from this family include the 1995 reserve champion Uljanoff (by Goldino), the State Stud stallion Uckermärker (by Goldino), the FEI dressage winner and approved Ursprung (by Cornus) and Ultra Chic (by EH Louidor). Sire EH Bartholdy has made himself a name as a dressage horse producer and left the breed with two approved sons: the 1992 champion Finley M and the elite stallion Maizauber, who presents three stallion prospects at this approval. The second dam sire Istanbul by Flaneur is the only approved son of the small original Trakehnen mare family of Ich und Du and stood in Great Britain and Holme Grove Stud for most of his impressive career. Third dam sire Harlekin was a son of the important chestnut Major and came out of the smaller private mare family of Harfe.
